“Grew up in Birmingham. Moved to Bristol in 1965 to study and played rugby for United Bristol hospitals and briefly the University.

“I moved to Wiltshire in 1971 marriage and had three sons who like me played rugby for local teams.

“I retired from work in 2014 having played rugby until the age of 50!”
