“I'm 54 years old and have been married for 33 years to my beautiful wife and have two children one of each type, one grown up and one almost.

“My beard journey started back in the early 90's along with explosion of Grunge and I have pretty much always had facial hair since then from Goatee, to Musketeer to Soul Patch to Full Beard. There have been a few shameful periods of clean shaveness but they have been thankfully minimal.

“I am co-owner of a company called Bus Stop VW in Sheffield and we specialise in creating high end VW T5 & T6 camper vans and surf buses, which to be honest is far better than doing a proper job!

“Other than my family and camper vans, my other big passion is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu; it's a great sport/martial art which I think keeps me young while at the same time makes me feel very old, but I just love it. Other than that I'm currently doing my Direct Access motor bike course to make my already spectacular midlife crisis complete.”
