“Why do I grow my beard? Well this started off as having a rant to the other half about the cost of razors which are getting more and more expensive, so I thought, 'Sod it I’m going grow a beard!', in a kind of protest.

“I had a styled short beard for a while but then I decided to do something crazy for my sister’s wedding which required me to grow my beard out a lot further, and go for some outlandish styling...

“...after that I grew it back and found that my moustache naturally curled, and I kind of loved it so I kept going.

“I’m a massive Sci-Fi, Fantasy / Comic geek and as such I love my movies and Graphic novels. My teen years were a mixture of Marvel / DC and 2000 AD, all which I still enjoy reading today.

“I’m a husband and a father - we have two amazing children, a boy and a girl who keep us both on our toes.

“I’m also an avid photographer; I enjoy all aspects of photography, but particularly enjoy landscape and Portraiture. I love travelling I’m a big fan of the east coast and of Scotland, as both provide stunning vistas.

“Finally I love traditional Minis. I have a Mini 35 and a Mini Van that I’m rebuilding... I love the fact they are easy to work on and if they don’t work it's always a simple fix.”
