“I'm 45 and happily married with 9 children; 5 Girls and 4 Boys

“Two of my girls have ADHD and autism.

“All of my boys have heart conditions and I have one boy who is severely disabled.

“Up until 4 years ago I was a ward nurse, specialising in mental health as well as day to day trauma and A&E roles.

“I started my beard journey 4 years ago when my disabled son was born, just due to being at the hospital after his life saving op.

“I'm not hugely into beard comps etc but support people where I can.”
